To suggest that Hyderabad, India and Detroit, Michigan have anything in common might seem to be a stretch for many people. These cities are in separate hemispheres over 7,000 miles away from each other. Hyderabad is a very warm climate with monsoon rains while Detroit experiences roughly two feet of snow in the winter and tornadoes in the summer. The lifestyles vary greatly and the cultural habits of the indigenous people don’t seem to align. However, If the opportunity arises to visit both places extensively, you will see multiple aspects of life that might cause a person to draw comparisons.

From industry to schooling, there are many factions of life that are similar. When you look past politics, religion, and institutions, what’s left is human nature and how people try to develop stable structures in their lives via employment, schooling, and everyday life.
